COVID-19: Masks are required in the library regardless of vaccination status.

CATALOG UPGRADE BEGINNING JANUARY 12, 2022

THE CATALOG AND ACCESS TO ACCOUNTS WILL NOT BE ACCESSIBLE FROM JANUARY 7-12 AS WE TRANSITION TO THE NEW SYSTEM. THE LIBRARY IS OPEN FOR BORROWING ITEMS AND COMPUTER USE DURING THIS TIME.

The Bucks County Library District is excited to unveil a new, easier-to-use online catalog.

We’ll transition to the new system on January 12, 2022.

The new system will integrate with your current online account and offers all the same tools as our previous system – in a much more user-friendly way. It also comes with exciting new features: reading recommendation emails, new item alerts, linked family/friend accounts and more.

If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please contact us.

What will change?

You’ll see the new catalog when you search for an item at a Bucks County library and when logging in to your personal account on any device. The old catalog will not be used after the transition. Rest assured, your holds and other account information will transfer to the new system. And your library card and PIN will not change.

What will happen during the transition?

While we transition to the new system, the current catalog will be unavailable for up to five days. You’ll still be able to check out books at your library, and our staff can help you find the books you’re looking for.

New holds cannot be placed during the transition period. However, your existing holds will transfer, and you’ll be able to place new holds as soon as the catalog is up and running.

No checked-out items will be due during the transition, and no fines will accrue during the month of January.

What do I need to do now?

Until we transition in January, you don’t need to do anything. Your library card number and PIN will not change. After the transition, you’ll be prompted to set a password the first time you log in to your account online.
