We are so excited to read, make and play with you this summer. The Library’s Summer Reading programming is 10 weeks long, running from June 13 through August 22. Access our full calendar on this website under the Events tab – online registration is open for all programs and events now!

Prizes!

Summer Reading prizes are back! On our Reading Logs (the same ones all elementary school kids from the NHS-School District get at the end of the school year) there are five free gift certificats readers can earn by completing reading challenges. Once you complete five reading challenges in a horizontal row, come into the Library for:

Don’t go the the NHS-SD? Don’t worry! We have copies of the reading log here at the Library too! All our local kids are welcome to participate in Summer Reading at the Library 🙂

PLUS! Kids will receive a raffle ticket each time they visit the Library this summer. Make sure to put your name and a way to reach you on the back, because downstairs in the Children’s Department, we have a LOT of really fun raffle baskets for summer readers. Put all your tickets on one prize or spread them out all summer, then at the end of Summer Reading, we’ll draw winners at the Rita’s Ice Summer Reading Closing Party! We’ll celebrate 10 weeks of books and Library love with free Rita’s for all summer reader kids!

really big thank you so many of our local businesses for donating to this year’s raffle baskets: Farley’s Bookshop, JaZam’s, Roots to River Farm, and Titusville Tabletop Games.
