Additional Services

3-D Printing

The library offers a Flashforge Finder 3D printer for patron use. Reservations should be made in advance. While a nominal fee may be charged in the future to cover material expenses, there is currently no cost for printing.

Items can be printed from one of the preformatted objects or patrons can create their own builds to download from one of the following programs: TinkercadMeshmixer, or 123D Designs. Patrons are also encouraged to download designs from Myminifactory and Thingiverse. To prepare the files for our 3D printer, patrons can use the Mac terminal next to the 3D printer to slice the design, or download the Flashprint 5 Slicer for free.

Patrons are asked to be mindful that builds can take up to several hours to complete and to time their visits according to library hours.
