Parents of Neurodivergent Children Self Care Workshop

Saturday, September 20th, 3-4pm

Join Lauren Haley, a behavior analyst and parent coach with Better Care Consulting, for the Dopamine Drop In. While it’s designed with parents of neurodivergent children in mind, every parent will walk away with practical tools and support they can use. Parents will gather in the Library's upstairs conference room where they will learn the basics of designing a realistic self-care plan for even the busiest days. They will then enjoy hands-on self-care activities such as journaling and somatic exercises. Meanwhile, children will be engaged in fun activities downstairs with Ms. Louise, the Library's head of youth services, giving parents a full hour to focus on themselves with ease.
