Crawl O'Clock
Mondays from 10-11am

Join us at the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury for an hour of open ended play! Ideal for toddlers on the move, we’ll have a pop-up tunnel, soft climbing blocks, sensory tiles, shakers, scarves and more. Come for the whole hour, or drop in for just a few minutes to play, make friends, and have fun at your local library.

No registration necessary. See you soon!

Calling all knitters, crocheters, cross stitchers and anyone else who enjoys needlecrafts! This is a group for anyone interested in the fabric arts, no registration required.

We meet 2x a week, every Monday at 11 - 12:30pm and Thursday at 3 - 4:30pm.

Representative Brennan's office will be holding office hours at the Library the 2nd Tuesday of every month, so please stop by on January 13th from 1 to 3pm, especially if you need help with SEPTA Senior Passes or have questions for PennDOT, for example.

No appointment necessary, drop in!

The next mobile office hour session will be February 10th, 2026.

Lolly Hopwood Musical Evening Storytime

Looking for something to do after work and school, but before dinner and bedtime? Join us at the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury for a 30-minute interactive musical storytime with Lolly Hopwood!

Lolly Hopwood is a Bucks County based children's musician who has been delighting kids & their grown ups for 20 years. Her interactive story times are filled with imagination and movement that gets the families up and using their bodies and their minds. With props like parachutes, pom poms, scarves, bubbles, and puppets, these programs are a memorable time for the whole family. Perfect for ages 2-7.

Registration is appreciated, but walk ins are always welcome. See you there!

Welcome to The Write Stuff: An All-Inclusive Adult Writer's Group!

This group is here to offer a safe and comfortable group for writers, aspiring writers, and the writer-curious to meet and explore the creative expression of writing. Whether you’re journaling, or writing fiction, poetry, autobiography, or just wondering if you have the write stuff, this workshop in a group setting offers a comfortable environment for scribes of all stripes.

Facilitated by local author Mark McNease, you’ll have the opportunity to write, read, share, and discover. McNease is also a two-time Emmy winner and current board member of the Mystery Writers of America-New York chapter.

Welcome to Mahjong at the New Hope - Solebury Library! We're thrilled to offer weekly games for Mahjong players of all levels. If you're new or just starting Mahjong, please join us! While we don't have a dedicated teacher on site, there are any number of experienced players who are available for the occasional question and spectating is always fine.

Everything is provided, just bring yourself or better yet, a friend!

Mahjong is every Wednesday from 1-3pm, please call 215-862-2330 if you have any questions. Registration is recommended for head count purposes but not required to attend.
