Welcome to Mahjong at the New Hope - Solebury Library! We're thrilled to offer weekly games for beginners, experienced players are also welcome to join. Everything is provided, just bring yourself or better yet, a friend.

Mahjong is every Wednesday from 1-3pm, please call 215-862-2330 if you have any questions. Registration is recommended for head count purposes but not required to attend.

This is an open-ended advanced crafting studio that is available to any patron ages 13+. Participants must be able to handle items such as a hot glue guns, woodburners and modeling knives carefully and safely.

This is a weekly program that offers the use of various craft tools and supplies, including our 3D printer, for any and all projects that patrons are interested in pursuing.

Calling all knitters, crocheters, cross stitchers and anyone else who enjoys needlecrafts! This is a group for anyone interested in the fabric arts, no registration required.

We meet 2x a week, every Monday at 11 - 12:30pm and Thursday at 3 - 4:30pm.

Adventure Readers
Thursdays, 4-5pm

Ideal for kids in grades K-2, the Adventure Readers meet at the Library every Thursday after school to explore a monthly theme. We’ll read and discuss an advanced picture book together then do a craft or learn a skill connected to the story. Plus, we’ll read a chapter (or two!) of a chapter book to explore a longer story over the course of the month. No need for participant to be reading independently yet!

• September: Mountains
• October: Oceans
• November: Hiking
• December: Blizzards

Rhythm Babes!
Friday mornings, 9:30-10am
The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury

Come for 30 minutes of clapping, moving, singing, bouncing, and playing at the Library!

Ideal for babies and toddlers 0-24 months. Registration always appreciated, but not required.

This is the weekly Magic the Gathering club geared towards new and experienced players. New players may receive starting kits including deck boxes, sleeves, dice, travel bags and more.

All formats are welcome, including Commander/EDH, Pioneer, Standard, Legacy, Modern and Cube Draft.

The Community Read Aloud!
The Free Library of New Hope & Solebury, Saturday, November 22nd
From 10am until The End, on the Library Lawn

What is it?
The Community Read Aloud is when our community comes together to read an entire book aloud, one chapter at a time in a single day. Different community members will read each of the chapters to all those listening - come and hear a couple chapters or stay and listen along all day!

This year's Read Aloud is: The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street by Karina Yan Glaser!
