Welcome to Mahjong at the New Hope - Solebury Library! We're thrilled to offer weekly games for beginners, experienced players are also welcome to join. Everything is provided, just bring yourself or better yet, a friend.

Mahjong is every Wednesday from 1-3pm, please call 215-862-2330 if you have any questions. Registration is recommended for head count purposes but not required to attend.

This is an open-ended advanced crafting studio that is available to any patron ages 13+. Participants must be able to handle items such as a hot glue guns, woodburners and modeling knives carefully and safely.

This is a weekly program that offers the use of various craft tools and supplies, including our 3D printer, for any and all projects that patrons are interested in pursuing.

Screenagers Documentary Screening & Family Night at the Free Library of New Hope & Solebury

Are you watching kids become too accustomed to using technology at too young an age? Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston saw that with her kids and wondered about the impact of technology and the friction occurring in homes and schools around negotiating screen time. In Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition, Dr. Ruston takes a deeply personal approach as she explores the vulnerable corners of family life to explore struggles over social media, video games, academics, and internet addiction.

Light dinner refreshments will be served. Bring your child! Activities and supervision will be available for younger children during the movie screening. RSVP appreciated, but not required. Please contact Christy Cheever (ccheever@nhscares.org) with any questions!

Fairy Wands Workshop & Storytime

Join Ms. JoAnn and Ms. Louise for a magical afternoon making beautiful, beaded fairy wands and reading fairy stories!

Recommended for ages 5 & up. Registration strongly preferred for this event!

Calling all knitters, crocheters, cross stitchers and anyone else who enjoys needlecrafts! This is a group for anyone interested in the fabric arts, no registration required.

We meet 2x a week, every Monday at 11 - 12:30pm and Thursday at 3 - 4:30pm.

Rhythm Babes!

Come for 30 minutes of clapping, moving, singing, bouncing, and playing at the Library!

Ideal for babies and toddlers 0-24 months. Registration always appreciated, but not required.

This is the weekly Magic the Gathering club geared towards new and experienced players. New players may receive starting kits including deck boxes, sleeves, dice, travel bags and more.

All formats are welcome, including Commander/EDH, Pioneer, Standard, Legacy, Modern and Cube Draft.

Join us for our weekly board game club! We have a lovely assortment of games for all ages and two capable volunteers to help get things started.

Ages 10 and up, every Saturday.
