This is our weekly Chess Club, geared towards experienced and new players. Boards and pieces will be provided, along with basic instruction for players unfamiliar with the game.

Led by Anita Thompson. For adults and teens. Participants provide their own supplies. Please register and the Zoom link will be sent just prior to the event.

Let’s explore the countryside on a bike! Participants will use acrylic paint and dynamic marking to create a vibrant bicycle and basket.

Zoom Class is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes long.

ADVENTURE BEGINS AT YOUR LIBRARY! Join Miss Patricia and Miss Marge for our At-the-Library Preschool Summer Storytime complete with stories, crafts, activities, and songs. This program is for preschool children and their caregivers.

Storytimes are important programs that foster early literacy skills (Letter Recognition, Vocabulary, Print Awareness, Print Motivation, Phonological Awareness, and Narrative Skills) and practices (Read, Write, Sing, Talk, and Play).

Early literacy is defined as what children know about reading and writing before they actually learn to read and write.

This is an open-ended advanced crafting studio that is available to any patron ages 13+. Participants must be able to handle items such as a hot glue guns, woodburners and modeling knives carefully and safely.

This is a weekly program that offers the use of various craft tools and supplies, including our 3D printer, for any and all projects that patrons are interested in pursuing.

SUMMER QUEST: Fantastic Fungi! Thursday, August 1, 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. For preschoolers to elementary-school ages.

Join Jade Greene, local mom, environmental educator, and President of the Aquetong Watershed Association for an interactive program about mushrooms! Registration required.

This is the weekly Magic the Gathering club geared towards new and experienced players. New players may receive starting kits including deck boxes, sleeves, dice, travel bags and more.

All formats are welcome, including Commander/EDH, Pioneer, Standard, Legacy, Modern and Cube Draft.
